3. Your own media design project actualized, with responses or equivalent format received and included in your text.

One the suggestions that I liked was to design an installation. Another that sounds pretty interesting, but somehow expensive and exclusive is to duplicate this project at the compuses of all the universities that have a partnership with Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Marcel Cornis-Pope mentioned that European students would probably donate words related to the economy and indentity, as well as more expletives. But the main question from Dr. Artur Matuck was, "what did you learn?" My answer was that I now feel comfortable designing and executing an artistic project, and that now I believe that I can call myself an artist.
The final report on your project must include:
3.1. Original proposal for media design
3.2. Rewritten proposal after interdesign process
3.3. Actualization, production, realization with interwriting received included
(My Rotten Words Project site, included above: http://www.elenes.com/rwp.html)
3.4. Editing, selecting, ordering, evaluation of all material received or collected into a final legible version.
(This web page)
3.5. Project redesign: considering the experience of the actualization of your concept how would you redesign it. This is a written evaluation of your own original project, how could it be improved, enlarged, transformed ?
It can be improved by having more human help during the actualization phase, setting up the event inside of a building instead of outside, choosing a different hour and day--this project's actualization started at noon on a Tuesday.
Maybe translating this project into an instaltion of a full blood online mashup may generate more words and public interest.
4. Foundation paper: A final account/paper that details the foundation and justification for the combinatory system designed including how the project ties to readings or concepts discussed. This should be your vision on how your project was based on class content. Alternatively you could present a written report of your own conception but it should touch on your project and on the course contents.

5. Course evaluation: this is optional but it will be greatly appreciated.
Comment on how the course could be improved in terms of content, methodologies and language.
I believe that we need to have more discussion than lecture and that the readings need to be available in a course pack format, or in Blackboard, before the semester starts.
The course needs a second part to allow the students more time to design and execute the project. I would like to have more time to work on a second step of this project.
